Why Use Signerra's QR Code PDF Tool?

Unlike other tools, we don't host your QR codes on our servers or track scans. Your QR code is direct, clean, and private.

Direct URLs, no redirects

Many QR code generators wrap your link in a redirect tracking URL that breaks if the service shuts down. Signerra encodes your exact URL directly into the QR code graphic. It will work forever.

Total privacy & offline safety

Your web URLs, images, and text boxes are processed locally in your web browser. Nothing is sent to our servers. Your business data remains completely confidential.

Zero cost, zero watermarks

We do not add Signerra logos or watermarks. The generated PDF is completely clean and matches your styling perfectly, ready for professional printing.

Why direct QR codes are better

"Most online QR code tools try to lock you into subscriptions by generating dynamic QR codes that redirect through their domain. If you stop paying or their site goes down, your QR code stops working. I built this tool to encode the actual target URL directly. Combined with the local text and logo layout, it makes a perfect, free marketing utility that is completely independent."

Expert Insights

?

What is a static vs dynamic QR code, and which one does this tool generate?

This tool generates static QR codes. A static QR code encodes the destination URL directly. It never expires and does not rely on a redirect server. A dynamic QR code redirects through a third-party server to track scans. Static QR codes are safer and last forever, while dynamic QR codes are used for tracking.

?

How large should I print a QR code on a flyer or poster?

For a standard flyer held at arm\'s length, the QR code should be at least 2 cm (0.8 inches) square. For posters or window signs read from a distance, increase the size. A good rule of thumb is a 10:1 distance-to-size ratio (e.g., a QR code read from 1 meter away should be 10 cm square).

?

Can I add multiple QR codes to a single page?

Yes! You can add multiple text and image boxes, but currently, we support one main QR code destination per page. If you need multiple QR codes, you can download separate ones and insert them as logos/images using the image upload option.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a limit on scans for the QR codes?

No! Since we encode the URL directly, there are no redirects or limits. It can be scanned an infinite number of times.

Will my QR code expire?

No, static QR codes never expire. As long as the target URL website is active, the QR code will work.

Can I change the URL after printing?

No. Because the URL is encoded directly into the pixel pattern, you cannot change the link after printing. You would need to generate and print a new QR code.

Are PNG, JPEG, and WebP logos supported?

Yes, you can upload PNG, JPEG, or WebP logo graphics and drag them to any position next to the QR code and text.

Does the generator work offline?

Yes! The entire page generation and QR encoding logic runs client-side in your web browser. You can even use it without an active internet connection once the page is loaded.
